Children’s Hug

Children’s Hug is a non-profit organization created by people with love and care for helping needy children and their families. It is based mainly on volunteering with the help of professional educators and doctors who offer their services, as well as donations from citizens, etc.

With the approval of the Ministry of Economics Infrastructure of Shipping and Tourism under the General Commercial Registry Registration Number (GEMI) 133535106000, it directly supports children from large or single families, through the Social Markets that it has at Argyraki 14 str. in Heraklion0-Crete and Filippoupoleos 101 str., at Ampelokipoi – Thessaloniki.

Including our Social Markets, as well as all over Greece, we provides free clothing, footwear, food, medicines and other essentials for the children and their families.

In recent months, the Children’s Hug, has created for the first time in Thessaloniki the Social Center for Reinforcement Teaching, where volunteer teachers provide children in need, with free lessons and other artistic, cultural and intellectual activities. Children’s Hug is active nationwide with volunteers in most cities in Greece. It has received no state subsidy. It is exclusively created by the love, the efforts and the offers of people!
